The Huon Community Association seeks:

To initiate and participate in actions to promote, protect and enhance the lifestyle and amenity of the residents of the Huon.

To lobby authorities and developers on behalf of the local community to obtain the best possible outcome in accordance with the Association's purposes.

To initiate and participate in actions to oppose:

• clearfelling and logging of old growth forest
• clearfelling, woodchipping and burning of native and non plantation forests
• the use of biomass for electricity generation.
