"A Glimpse into My Life"

On top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball, when somebody sneezed.
It rolled off the table, and on to the floor,
And then my poor meatball, rolled out of the door.
Midi playing - On top of old smokey ...

ONE BITTERLY COLD DAY RECENTLY ...

... I wanted to shut the world and my problems out
so I took to my bed and ...
SLEPT
But before I left the kitchen I took some ground beef
from the freezer to thaw - threw a packet of
spaghetti on the bench saying to Terry ...

... "this will do for our evening meal"

MINUTES LATER
The world no longer bothered me - I had escaped in sleep!

HOURS LATER
Terry woke me to tell me the spaghetti was cooked and
wanted to know what he had to do with the meat?
OK I grunted as I stumbled out of my bed and in to
the kitchen - to find the meat was not thawed!

GRRRR!
I threw it into the microwave, got a pan of garlic oil
heated ...

... Oh No! I had not changed the settings on the
microwave - the top of the meat was cooked and the
middle still frozen ...

... grabbing a strong knife I chopped and chopped,
threw the lot into the hot oil adding a pinch of this and
a pinch of that - a splash of this and that - then served it
piping hot ...

... and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Finishing mine I stood up and said "I'm Off"

Looking surprised Terry asked, "Where are you going?
I replied ...

"BACK TO BED TO WAKE UP!"

 On Top Of Spaghetti
On top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball, when somebody sneezed.
It rolled off the table, and onto the floor,
And then my poor meatball, rolled out of the door.
It rolled in the garden, and under a bush,
And then my poor meatball, was nothing but mush.
The mush was as tasty as tasty could be,
And early next summer, it grew into a tree.
The tree was all covered with beautiful moss,
it grew lovely meatballs, and tomato sauce.
So if you eat spaghetti, all covered with cheese,
Hold on to your meatballs, and don't ever sneeze.
