was formed in 1947, when the then landlady (Miss Greenwood) of the Red Lion Hotel, had a green
laid for the servicemen returning from the Second World War. Sadly late last
year the Club lost a 3-year-legal battle with the present owner and vacated
the green in January 2002
This small English Bowling Club is facing an uphill battle for survival after
losing its green in the world famous black and white village on the Hereford
Welsh Border.
