This website brings to its viewers some of the early history of South Arm. Also the story of the Derwent Lighthouse which was first know as the Iron Pot.
There is a link on that page about the Parkinson family that spent some years at the Iron Pot Lighthouse. They saw several changes that took place around 1874 to 1885.
I have put together the photos of the local area and others of the shore line around the South Arm Peninsula.
