Crochet Collector Dolls

At the beginning of 1999, I was introduced to these fabulous crocheted fashions for the 11½ inch fashion doll. Costuming these dolls has enabled me to further explore my passion for doll costuming and dressing. Each outfit is an exquisite recreation of fashions from yesteryear and those associated with famous icons.

Each of the dolls displayed here is wearing a crocheted costume and accessories from Paradise Publications Patterns that can now be purchased in Australia through the Crochet Collectors Doll Club.

Princess Diana 1989 Beaded Suit

This dress is a recreation of one of Diana's most photographed outfits, the " Elvis" suit. This dress contains over 3000 pearls individually crocheted in.

This outfit is an authentic recreation of elaborate winter clothing worn by women in the Victorian Era.

1904 Gibson Girl Bride P-030

 

This authentic reproduction is made in rayon thread and encrusted withpearls. She has the traditional Gibson girl hairstyle.
