One drives from Hobart as far as Kettering and then board the vehicular ferry "Mirambeena" which takes one to Roberts Point on the northern end of the island. After leaving the ferry terminal one heads south along the main Road, across the Isthmus or neck to a T junction at which point one turns left and drive further 12 kilometres to Adventure Bay.
