Friday night (7 Dec.) Ken Vk7dy and Murray vk7zms conducted 1250MHz ATV transmissions from 2 sites. The first was near the Zinc works to Lindisfarne, a distance of 4kms. The latter from West Moonah to Lindisfarne distance of 7kms. Good quality pictures were exchanged using 50mw.

Good progress has been made with some let downs.

We hope to be able to get 70cm going next week...we have it working in the yard but have not done any long distance transmissions...this will be our next task.....Regards Ken vk7dy
