It was a visiting overseas customer who suggested the 'Freckled' designation for this strain. We had been working on them for some years and had selected both doubles and anemone flowered forms for clonal propagation, we were unsure just what to call them when they were saved from anonymity by a friend.

The plants grow to a good size and flowers are abundant.
