Double Dark Purple
We originally obtained the double purple parent for this strain from our friend Jeff Jurlina, a New Zealand Hellebore enthusiast, Jeff has very high standards and an unrivalled eye for colour.
By crossing with Mrs. Betty Ranicar we have a new strain of double purples, with larger flowers than the original but as brilliantly coloured.
A fantastic example of international cooperation to breed new varieties of Helleborus. Jeff and I are currently working on double yellows together.
