"HAPPY 1st ANNIVERSARY TO SERENITY" June 22nd 2002 "WHAT A WONDERFUL YEAR FOR ALL" Midi - Dear Heart SERENITY Dictionary Definition: PEACEFUL - SERENE - TRANQUIL Laurie's Definition: FRIENDSHIP - ACTIVITY - BELONGING What this means to me: ** FRIENDSHIP ** The hand of Friendship offered by so many was truly amazing ... it warmed my heart so very much. ** ACTIVITY ** To be offered an opportunity to take an active part in helping our wonderful team was awesome. ** BELONGING ** To belong brings with it so many emotions - knowing others care if your day has been good or bad is just one of many. ** HOW MY YEAR HAS BEEN! ** Many times I have felt I was on a "Roller-Coaster" All the lovely moments will be buried deep in my heart forever. The bad times - when things went wrong - these I was helped through by friends. Bad times never got a place to stay - but the remembrance of the hand of friendship will always remain. ** A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY ** During this past year I have travelled down many roads and discovered so much about myself. I was inclined to be a loner with very little trust in my fellow man, I never knew how to express my true feelings. Gradually I came out of the shadows and revealed myself. AND NOW ... I have discovered what a wonderful world ... IT REALLY IS. ** ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS ** With my heartfelt "Thank You" I will not name names - you all will know I mean you. My Loyal Awards Committee Members and others that have stepped in with help when needed. To those who write to me - your letters are so welcome. To our grand Team Members - who are always seeking ways to improve things for us - your help and support is tremendous.    My Heart belongs to my friends and Serenity. A guardian angel given to me in a recent personal need - it means so much to me. I am sure you will find this dear angel on many of my pages from now on.
