The New Year symbolises a renewal of life and that is why
we discard the old and worn to make room for
regeneration.


As we approach the start of a new year it is a time for
reflection.

Have we done all that we hoped to do - if not make a
resolution to do so soon.

Get out that pen and paper and start your list of
resolutions for the year ahead.

AULD LANG SYNE

It is the custom in most English speaking countries to
sing Auld Lang Syne at the stroke of Midnight.


The "modern" version of Auld Lang Syne was written by
Robert Burns in the 1700's.
