Daybreak - Midi playing The Seasons of Life!   To Autumn!   At daybreak the autumn mists hang low, but our spirits are high, we are ready to embrace all that is in store for us. We have weathered many storms and we met all of the challenges life threw at us ... And Survived! We became grandparents and rejoiced. Did we think the years of autumn would be a time of rest? :-) How wrong we were, playing on the floor once again is tiring at times, but at least we can hand them back to be fed etc. while we catch a nap :-) We embrace the activities our grandchildren enjoy. Like watching them play sports, often in cold or windy weather ... or ... attending a school concert and, in our eyes, they Are the Stars :-) We are so proud of their achievements! Sometimes we are called upon to help make costumes or to give them cooking lessons. When they reach their teens we smile as we remember, it is like living it all over again for us. Time once again has not stood still and the grandchildren reach their ... "Coming of Age" It is time now for us to accept the final stage in the Circle of Life; retirement for us, and we move into the ...
