You are you and I am me, we are as different as can be,
But together we become, in friendship, just as one.
The greatest sweetener of human life is friendship.
To raise this to the highest pitch of enjoyment,
is a secret which but few discover."

My own thoughts on friendship are ...
A friend is always someone who will be there for you,
Someone who can laugh with you, cry with you, and give comfort
when you are sad.
A friend never looks for thanks, but as a friend, is always caring.
Someone who will tell you if you make a mistake, and even
help you solve the problem.
True friends are like diamonds - rare and beautiful.
These things - to me - are of course a "two-way" street, to have
a good friend you must be a good friend.

Friends are hard to find.
Intangible yet present,

Haiku stands as one of the great cultural gifts of the EAST.
This wonderful poetic form in which a universal moment
is captured in just three short lines of 5-7-5 syllables,
bespeaks the magnificent skill of brevity.

"Your friendship has done for me
what warm rain and sunshine
does for flowers...."
Many people will walk in and out of your life but only
true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

Never think kind words are wasted
Bread on waters cast are they.
And it may be we shall find them
Coming back to us some day.
Coming back when sorely needed
In a time of our distress.
So, my friend, let's give them freely
Gift and giver God will bless!
