Lou Magritzer Presents
All members please attend if possible our forum to be held on 16th June at the Tramsheds in Launceston. The main presenter is Lou Magritzer, our world traveller of the quality fraternity. Topics cover updates on quality practices in China and Thailand, ISO22000 food safety management and integration of management systems. Should be most informative !

Margaret Killen – President Elect AOQ National
Margaret has been elected by National Council to be next in line to become President. This will be a double first for AOQ Tasmania because we have never held the National Presidency nor has that position previously been taken by a female member.

ISO Technical Committee 176 is charged with the responsibility for updating the ISO 9000 series of standards for quality management. They are always interested in feed back about the standards and also provide a mass of advice and information. Link to ISO Technical Committee 176

Profile Tony Uhe – Chairman
Tony joined the Australian Organisation for Quality Tasmania in Victoria then transfered membership to Tasmania when he moved here in 2001 to take up the position of Quality Assurance manager with Tasmanian Alkaloids. Tony was actively involved in the Victorian division and has taken up the challenge to keep the Tasmanian organisation active and useful to members.
